Silver Regional SASS | Sexual Assault Support Services

Meet the SASS Team

Our Mission

To help and support survivors and their families affected by child abuse, neglect, sexual assault, and rape, and to educate and prevent these crimes from happening.

Our vision

Silver Regional Sexual Assault Support Services (SRSASS) is a non-profit Rape Crisis Center established in 2011.  We are located in the southwest region of New Mexico providing services to survivors of sexual violence in Grant and Hidalgo Counties.

SRSASS provides services to survivors of sexual violence and their families through case management services, crisis intervention services, community education and awareness services, counseling services, and accompaniment services for both the SANE exam and legal proceedings.

behind our branding

At the heart of the design is a dandelion, subtly integrated into the typography. This delicate flower, often seen as fragile, represents resilience and renewal. Its seeds, gently drifting away, echoing the process of healing—each step forward a symbol of growth and reclaiming one’s life after trauma. The dandelion, known for its ability to thrive in adverse conditions, symbolizes hope, strength, and endurance, aligning with the journey survivors undertake.

The design balances boldness and lightness, much like the healing process itself—strong, yet full of hope and transformation. Every element has been chosen with intention, reflecting the compassion, care, and steadfast support that Silver Regional SASS provides.

The dandelion stands as a visual reminder that even in the face of adversity, healing, growth, and renewal are not only possible but inevitable.
