To help and support survivors and their families affected by child abuse, neglect, sexual assault, and rape, and to educate and prevent these crimes from happening.
Silver Regional Sexual Assault Support Services (SRSASS) is a non-profit Rape Crisis Center established in 2011. We are located in the southwest region of New Mexico providing services to survivors of sexual violence in Grant and Hidalgo Counties.
SRSASS provides services to survivors of sexual violence and their families through case management services, crisis intervention services, community education and awareness services, counseling services, and accompaniment services for both the SANE exam and legal proceedings.
We want to create a safe and supportive community where individuals impacted by trauma can regain their autonomy, heal, and thrive. We are committed to providing comprehensive care, from medical assistance and housing to financial support and therapy, ensuring that every person has the resources they need.
Through prevention, education, and collaboration with law enforcement and schools, we aim to foster a culture of awareness and protection. We are a space of trust focused on bringing people and resources together that genuinely care about helping people in need. We envision a future where every child and adult feel secure to disclose abuse, knowing they will be met with compassion, respect, and unwavering support.
