Welcoming Our New Staff: some old, new, and familiar faces.

New changes for SASS in 2018. We hired two new staff and celebrated the promotion of another. SASS’s new Executive Director Chelsea Cooper has been with the agency for three years. We are delighted to have her leading SASS into a new age of sexual assault awareness.

Advocacy and Crisis Coordinator, Christine Star emerged out of retirement to enhance our advocacy program. Her dedication to the victims of crime with the Silver City Police Department are unmatched.

Outreach and Education Coordinator, Marcie Landreth comes from Colorado with a background in non-profit management. She is driven to see survivors find justice and peace.
